Results released by ONS.gov.uk in 2014 have again revealed how happy with their lives the Scandinavians are. The data covered 28 European countries and has the UK sitting just over the average line when it comes to life satisfaction.
So, what is the Scandinavian’s secret? Well, in truth, there are probably a huge number of factors that make a difference but we’d like to focus on one factor that deserves the credit that we’re giving it…
EXERCISE! Yep, that’s right, exercise. When asked whether they take part in sports or physical activity every day (or almost every day or at least once a week), 60.2% of people from Denmark and 70.4% from Sweden said yes, compared to 46.8% from the UK.
Compare this to the survey on life satisfaction, where Denmark scored 91%, Sweden 85.4% and the UK 71.8%. Still unsure? Check out the infographic below and then get down the gym. Time to put a smile back on the nation’s faces!
Despite the benefits we’ve learned about protein powders, not all of them are keto-friendly. Just like any product for people on a low-carb diet, you need to read the label closely to make sure you’re not consuming added carbs and sugars.
